MS.Ed., BCBA, Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Learning Behavior Specialist

Brooke Schneider, MS.Ed., BCBA is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Learning Behavior Specialist with over 13 years of experience. She received her undergraduate degree in Children with Disabilities and Human Development and Family Living (Now Applied Behavior Sciences) from the University of Kansas in 2004.  Brooke continued her education at Loyola University of Chicago by receiving her Masters in Special Education. Since obtaining her degrees, she began her career as a lead teacher in a therapeutic classroom.   Brooke has extensive experience in working with children and adolescents with developmental and cognitive disabilities in the areas of functional assessment, behavior intervention programming, integrating behavioral interventions in the home and school environment and teaching sign language. She has the experience and ability to create Academic Intervention Plans that identifies the necessary modifications and accommodations needed for each and every child to succeed in the school environment.  Currently, Brooke provides individual and group behavior therapy for children and adolescents within the clinical, home and school environment.

In addition to providing behavior analytic services to children and young adults, Brooke also provides tutoring to prospective behavior analysts as they prepare for their board examination.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Lindsay Fettner MS., BCBA is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Lindsay has been with Orange Pediatric Therapy since we opened the doors!! She received her master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Lindsay obtained her bachelors degree from The University Of Kansas (Go Jayhawks!) in Applied Behavioral Sciences. She has extensive experience working with individuals on the Autism spectrum and related disorders. Prior to working at Orange Pediatric Therapy, Lindsay spent the 3 years working as an applied behavior analysis line therapist in clinic, school, and home based settings.  

Fun fact: Lindsay plays in a skeeball league and last year her team won!! She can also solve a Rubiks cube in under 3 minutes!!

Clinical Director

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Hannah is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and has been with Orange Pediatric Therapy for over a year and a half!! Hannah earned her Bachelors Degree in Applied Health Science at Indiana University, and  has years of comprehensive experience with children and adults with a variety of both disabilities and abilities. Hannah’s experience and commitment to the field began in high school when she assisted a family friend in caring for adolescent twins diagnosed with autism. Hannah fell in love with the twins, and hasn’t stopped working in the field since. 

Hannah began working with more families, volunteered as a peer buddy with The Friendship Circle, and became an aid at a day camp. While studying abroad, Hannah had the opportunity to intern at The Rainbow School; an ABA school in London, England. Ever since then she has focused her practice primarily on Applied Behavioral Analysis. Hannah has a passion for helping others, and is excited to bring that passion to Orange Pediatric Therapy!

Fun Fact: Hannah never skips desserts!!

Danielle Markowitz, M.Ed., BCBA is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Butler University in 2014. Danielle continued her education at Endicott College receiving her Masters in Education of Applied Behavior Analysis with a certification in Autism. She has extensive experience working with individuals on the Autism spectrum and related disorders. Prior to working at Orange Pediatric Therapy, Danielle has experience working in a clinic, school and home based setting. Danielle has always had a passion working with children and helping others and is excited to be part of the Orange Pediatric Therapy family.

Fun Fact: Danielle loves to host dinner parties.

Molly is pursuing a career in Applied Behavior Analysis. She graduated with an undergrad in Applied Behavior Analysis with a concentration in early childhood education and autism intervention from the University of Kansas. She has experience working with children in a group and 1-1 setting. She is planning on continuing her education towards her Learning Behavior Specialist and to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This past year she worked as a Para educator in a special education classroom. She loves every minute of working with these children and helping them grow and is excited to be part of Orange Pediatric Therapy.

Kris is studying ABA at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, working on his Master's degree and intends to pursue a PhD in the field afterwards. ABA and working with kids with special needs have become passions of his. During the school year, Kris works as a para-educator in a special ed classroom at Keshet where he has gained experience building relationships one-on-one and with groups of students in a variety of settings, including educational, recreational and in the community. He extremely excited to apply his experience and education to helping the kids at Orange Therapy!

Fun fact: Kris has a Huskie named Luna. She is may be the only one who loves the negative degree Chicago weather.

Alyse is pursuing a career in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is studying ABA with a strong emphasis on autism at Ball State University and is working on completing her Master’s degree in July. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotions from Miami University. Alyse has 3 years of experience working in a therapeutic day school for children with autism as a paraprofessional, where she worked in both group and 1:1 settings. Alyse also has experience in creating lessons plans that focus on activities of daily living and community safety. She has also worked in the community by supporting her students as they navigate different environments as independently as possible. Alyse has always had a passion for working with children and is thrilled to utilize her skills at Orange Pediatric Therapy!

Vanessa is pursuing a career in Applied Behavior Analysis at Purdue University Global. She studied Education and Art at Purdue University/PNC. Vanessa has over 10 years of experience working with children throughout Indiana and Illinois, most recently working as a Preschool teacher. She is passionate about creating lesson plans with most anything involving language and communication. Even happier when work involves daily living/adaptive skills as well as pre-academic and social skills. In her free time Vanessa loves to spend time with her family, cooking, traveling and reading. She is also an avid practitioner of Krav Maga (Huh?). If it involves the outdoors, a yoga pose or balancing your chakra, she is in.

Zoe graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a concentration in cognitive Neuroscience with a minor in Biology. Before joining Orange Pediatric, Zoe was a volunteer at Robert & Ann H. Lurie Children Hospital of Chicago in the inpatient department where she worked 1:1 and in group therapy with children and adolescents. She engaged in all different forms of therapy with individuals with all level of needs. She still continues to volunteer as a hippo therapist helping individuals build trusting relationships with horses, improve neuro-cognitive and motor skills, and helping people see the joy of therapy with animals. This August she will be going to Haiti on a medical mission and will help women and children receive medical attention!

Kayla is presently pursuing a career in Applied Behavior Analysis. She recently moved back to Chicago and is enthusiastic to finish her bachelors and move towards grad school. She began working as a Registered Behavioral Therapist in 2015 where she started with 1:1 home sessions to engage with her clients. During her home sessions, she helped with parent training, daily living skills, and community outings. After two years of strictly home sessions, she started working in a clinical setting where she learned more hands-on skills with developing programs, running assessments, and applying behavioral plans. She adores working with kiddos and providing high energy during her sessions. Kayla enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, reading, and anything cat related!

Raquel graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Raquel was first introduced to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder while volunteering at a pediatric therapy clinic. She worked under the occupational therapists and assisted with the summer sports group. Raquel has five years of experience as an ABA therapist. She has experience working with children in the home and clinic setting. Before working at Orange Pediatric Therapy, Raquel was an instructor for a therapeutic preschool program. She is a very compassionate person and enjoys working with children.

Behavior Therapist

Courtney graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a bachelors in Family Consumer Sciences with a family service focus. She has 3 years experience working with children on the Autism spectrum as a para-professional in 1:1 or group settings in special education classrooms. Outside of the classroom, she works with children with Autism and related disorders for the past 5 years through the YMCA. In her spare time, she enjoys taking her puppy for long walks and practices yoga. She found her passion in working with children with Autism and is eager to get started with the kiddos at Orange Pediatric Therapy!

Registered Behavior Therapist

Jorey earned a bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science with a concentration in Early Childhood Autism Intervention and a minor in psychology from The University of Kansas (Rock Chalk ). Her coursework consisted of being a preschool teacher for kids with and without disabilities as well as a therapist in an early intensive behavior intervention classroom. On summer breaks away from college, she spent much of her time at an inclusive camp in the Chicagoland area. Jorey has been born into this field and continues to love the people within it.

Fun Fact. Jorey is now our 4TH (FOURTH.. 4!!) KANSAS JAYHAWK on our team!! Can you believe it! Now many companies can say they have 4 Jayhawks on their team!! That is pretty spectacular! :). Rock Chalk Jorey. Rock Chalk!
